Welcome to SunShine Animal Hospital of Melbourne, Florida. We have been here caring for your pets like family since 2002, offering excellent veterinary medicine, surgery, diagnostics, treatments, pet products and boarding. We serve Melbourne, Rockledge, Suntree, Pineda, Merritt Island and surrounding areas.
We have an in-office diagnostic laboratory as well as x-rays and ultrasound to help us make a quick diagnosis of your pet’s condition. We have a fully staffed surgery suite as well, in case your pet needs any kind of surgery. All patients receive IV fluids and electronic monitoring during surgery. Even a teeth cleaning is state of the art nowadays – we offer a two-stage ultrasonic plaque and tartar cleaning, plus a plaque prevention sealant that retards the accumulation of the bacteria that causes tooth decay.
Each efficient and caring staff member completes professional training before they begin to care for your pet. This ensures that your family member will receive a consistent level of care. Our boarding facility has indoor air conditioning and a fenced exercise yard. We have a state-of-the-art computer networked medical records system and an expanded pharmacy as well.
